The Foundation joins the Global Platform against child labor

We are pleased to announce that our Foundation is part of the Global Platform against child labor.

Worldwide, 152 million children are in child labor, and 73 million of them are engaged in hazardous work.

Within the framework of the Global Conference on the Sustained Eradication of Child Labour, a group of Civil Society Organizations came together to eradicate child labor worldwide, coordinating the roles of the different organizations in order to monitor the effective implementation of the pledges made and the commitments set out in the Buenos Aires Declaration.

The platform's objectives are to foster information sharing among its members, coordinate the work of the various stakeholders involved, replicate successful experiences while taking into account the interests of each organization in its local work, and ensure the appropriate participation of civil society in subsequent conferences.
